Soham Chatterjee

Postdoc

Soham is a postdoc in the group. He received his PhD in 2025 from the Centre for Systems and Control at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. His research area is in motion planning and control of systems governed by partial differential equations (PDEs). Soham's current work centers around control of PDEs with moving boundaries with applications to additive manufacturing processes.

Shuheng Zhang

PhD Student

Shuheng Zhang is an Oxford graduated mathematician with an interest in control theory. He got his B.Sc. in Pure Math from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, in 2024, and M.Sc. in Mathematics (with Distinction) from University of Oxford in 2025. He is now pursuing Ph.D. at UC San Diego under the supervision of Prof. Mamadou Diagne and Prof. Miroslav Krstić. His research interests span partial differential equations, control systems, and stochastic analysis, with current work focusing on control-theoretic approaches in mathematical biology.
